Simple Things
I have been busy working on my Stitch A Long (SAL with Chookyblue) project. I so love this quilt, again another amazing project by Annie Downs, it is going to look so good when it is finished. Each month we need to complete a section, it is addictive I could do more 😄
I'm up today's, yippee I can't believe it :))) I am so enjoying this quilt, I have wanted to stitch it since I first set eyes on it. I have used French General, one of my favourite fabric ranges.
Today was the last day for the January stitchery of Annie Downs from Hatched & Patched to be completed. I think I'm lucky living in WA as I'm given an extra 3 hours ...... phew!!! I made my design into a project folder, I'm thinking I will use it while stitching Natures Journey.
I'm excited to be involved in the 2015 Stitch-a-long with Chooky and friends. My pattern is ordered, so excited for it to arrive. I was lucky to see Annie's quilt Natures Journey in Melbourne when it wasn't quite finished, I loved it from first sight.

I've so much to share with you on my recent adventure to Hawaii with Leanne Beasley, Gail Pan and Annette Delsasso.
We experienced Hawaiian quilting, many quilt shops, lots of shopping, luxury accommodation, the best weather, yummy cocktails and friendships made forever.
I've just come home from Melbourne, attending Friends in Stitching at the Novotel Glen Waverley hosted by Leanne Beasley, Gail Pan and Natalie Lymer. We were pampered and spoilt and every moment of the day was special. Our projects were great, I attended both Saturday and Sunday and each day I received 3 exciting brand new projects with delicious fabrics, cosmo cottons and a personal pattern. Our meals were yummy and the friendships made will be treasured forever. I didn't get much stitching done, a lot of talking and laughing was had. I had a great 3 days with my friends Kerry from Roxby Downs, my mum attending her first stitching event (she was a beginner and did amasing) and my friends Ros, Shelley, Ros and Susan from Perth and all my friends that I've met from other stitching events - you all made it so special, I am so lucky.
